| I've been doing L-sits a lot, and when ever I hold it for more then 15 seconds I get cramps in my right leg. Its really bugging me cause it means I can't do L-sit pull-ups and L-sit chin-ups! The thing is, it doesn't bother me when I'm doing front levers lifts and back levers. Does anyone have any Idea how to make the cramps go away? |

| Try eating more potassium and salts and drink more water. See if that helps |

| Ok, I'll try that stuff. Not to sound stupid, but what is a good food that has a lot of potassium in it? |

If you have "crunching" noises in your shoulder, that's usually a GOOD indication that something is up... Potassium will NOT help that issue.
Potassium is good for preventing muscular cramps and keeping an adequate mineral balance in the body. Bananas are an *okay* source of potassium, but try getting it from other sources as well... Believe it or not, but a 4oz serving of pork has more potassium than a medium-sized banana! If you're not a pig person, try stocking up on some sweet potatoes... They're loaded with other great nutrients. I also reccomend NO-SALT product, it's in the salt/spice section of your supermarket... It is salt substitute that TASTES like salt and is used just like salt, but actually has a TON of potassium in it. I wouldn't use it while cooking, but it's useful when used afterward... I try to remember to put it on EVERYTHING... Especially salty foods, like bacon. ;-) The balance between salt/potassium is very important.
Good luck! :-) |
