| Yeah, Herschel was a freak of nature that was incredibly strong and could do pull ups for days, but Bruce Lee has some of the biggest lats I have ever seen and one of the strongest core's as well. Both freakishly strong and intense competitors. I really don't know who I think would be a better Bar-Barian. |

| Well I don't know if either one would be better than the other. They both would have different styles, so it's hard to just compare them on paper as they both would have advantages and disadvantages against each other probably. |

| for me, bruce lee is like... the epitome of fitness. at least for me. Lean, ripped up like nobodies business and ridiculously strong. thats what I want to achieve plus, he was a martial artist which is a 1up in my book. he has influenced my fighting style tremendously. |

| They both are the s**t. But one has alot of myths around him and the other (herschel) was a straight up beast that proved it. Reading about his workout routine was one of the things that led me to drop the weights for calisthenics. He's the best college football player ever and he still does that crazy routine and trains m.m.a. You can look up the fight he had on youtube. He's still shredded like he was at 48yrs old! He also was clocked recently running a 4.3 40yard dash. That's insane! This guy is prood that calisthenics works. |

| As a UGA fan I can only say Herschel Walker. Bruce Lee was the s**t, but he wasn't one of the best athletes at UGA, haha. Bias in a nutshell. |

| The book The Art of Expressing the Human Body by Bruce Lee is awesome. He was incredibly strong and I think would have been unreal on the bars with his core strength and overall muscular strength. Not to mention he probably weighed about 100 lbs less than Herschel. |

| to quote wikipedia: "Lee's striking speed from three feet with his hands down by his side reached five hundredths of a second.[81] Lee could take in one arm a 75 lb barbell from a standing position with the barbell held flush against his chest and slowly stick his arms out locking them, holding the barbell there for 20 seconds.[82] Lee's combat movements were at times too fast to be captured on film for clear slow motion replay using the traditional 24 frames per second of that era, so many scenes were shot in 32 frames per second for better clarity.[83][84][85] In a speed demonstration, Lee could snatch a dime off a person's open palm before they could close it, and leave a penny behind.[86] Lee would hold an elevated v-sit position for 30 minutes or longer.[78] Lee could throw grains of rice up into the air and then catch them in mid-flight using chopsticks.[87] Lee could thrust his fingers through unopened cans of Coca-Cola. (This was when soft drinks cans were made of steel much thicker than today's aluminum cans).[85] Lee performed one-hand push-ups using only the thumb and index finger.[79][87][88] Lee performed 50 reps of one-arm chin-ups.[89] Lee could break wooden boards 6 inches (15 cm) thick.[90] Lee could cause a 200-lb (90.72 kg) bag to fly towards and thump the ceiling with a sidekick.[79] Lee performed a sidekick while training with James Coburn and broke a 150 lb (68 kg) punching bag.[78][91]"
Not to mention the fact that Bruce Lee invented/at least popularized the dragon flag. |

| Philpot, have you ever read Bruce Lee's book The Art of Expressing the Human Body? It is an amazing book if you haven't. Really a lot of really good insight to Bruce Lee's approach to total fitness (including his workouts, philosophy, diet, etc). |
