| I was just wondering how many people have completed the 2010 requirements. I think I saw a video of Lee doing them, but I can't recall any others.
I am looking for inspiration as I would like to try them myself before the year is out.
In case you didn't know about the new requirements they are: 5 muscle-ups 45 dips 25 pull-ups 55 push-ups 5 muscle-ups
Damn. It's intimidating just typing that all out! |

I saw Jaz do it as well. I'd like to see how fast LBM could get it. Personally I'm not a fan of the BBR cause I prefer strength exercises over endurance. Nevertheless it's still a goal of mine. |

No it's endurance, 5 MU on it's own are easy. I also don't like that they left out legs. |

| I wouldn't say 5 muscle-ups is EASY, but with practice it isn't that hard. The BBR's test both strength and endurance. In my opinion one without the other isn't worth all that much. I agree that some legs would be nice, too. If it were up to me, pistols and/or shrimps would be mandatory. |

Yeah I know what you're saying. But I'd say strength test would be planche push ups, oap, slow muscle ups, front lever for x amount of time, or 90 degree push ups. Those are hard without all the stuff before. |

Agreed. I'll probably never actually get to do the requirements because I'm working on strength goals at the moment and endurance isn't a goal of mine(for now). |

Ok time to clarify. The fact that the MU at the end are hard because of the muscle ups, dips, pull ups, and push ups before it means it is a test of endurance not strength. If it were hard on it's own then it would be considered a strength test. 5 slow Muscle ups would be more of a strength test. No I don't want them to change it to something easier for me, as I said before it's a goal of mine. My only point from the beginning was that some big exercises (oap, front lever hold, planche push ups etc) and legs are left out. |

| I find it interesting... the only people who complain about the requirements (other then the leg thing, which I whole heartedly agree with) are people who haven't done it... maybe you should accomplish it, THEN say, "you know what, this is too easy. add some REAL challenges of strength to it!" I'm not trying to put anybody down but seriously, these guys know what they are doing, and they run the organization, they can set whatever membership requirements they dang well please... don't ask them to change it until you can do it |
