I just wanted to share this fun video of my friend Freddie.
I feel that this is what it's all about, family fun and fitness,
Martial arts is a passion of mine. This guy can tear up a dummy with some palm strikes. lol
Enjoy! |

| Yeah, I started to laugh when I saw how much he can do.
But like he said he may not be the best at everything but he's striving to be the best he can be. I respect that a lot, more than just his skills alone.
Your character development and humility are sometimes the best part of what you have to offer. |

| Hi p'titor Martial arts is'nt just about fighting. It's about mastery of ones mind (when to be patient, when to be decisive) body (strength and balance) and connecting to the human spirit (Respect, kindness and compassion). If only in this world we didn't have predators. our family and children would be safe. Unfortunatly, there is evil and we must defend ourselves and protect our loved ones from this evil. I get what your saying though, I don't like fighting either. I'd much rather be a lover... lol There never was a good war or a bad peace. ~ Benjamin Franklin

| Excelent video! I've been practicing martial arts since I was 8 years old and since I started do do calisthenics, I've noticed a great increase in my performance! It's excelent to know that there are other martial artists around here |

| That's great! I wish I started earlier. I mostly played seasonal American sports growing up. I wrestled when I was around 8 years old but I didn't like it. The singlets are a little too exposing when you're that age, in fact, any age for that matter lol.. In my opinion, Gi's look and feel a lot cooler, if you know what I mean?
Recently though, I've been doing BJJ for about 10 years. I'm not very disciplined, or good. but I know enough to feel confident.
Did You Know?
San Diego has the highest ratio per capita of Brazilians than any other city in the United States.
Side note: My Instructors substitutes were 3rd degree black belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.( and I went to a crappy school). lol. I can't imagine who I'd train with at a "real" school. There's so many martial artists out there...

| Ahah, I know what you mean I dindn't have a clue that there were so many brazilians over there! I have some friends that already invited me to go try BJJ but I haven't had the time yet. I started with taekwondo then changed to shotokan karate, changed again to aikido and came back to karate and recently I began doing tai chi Now I'm doing karate and tai chi chen style |
