Just thought I'd throw up a log here to track my progress as I get better


Friday Sept 9 2011:

100 pushups
30 dips
20 pullups


Monday Sept 12 2011:

50 pullups
100 pushups
100 squats
50 bicycle crunches
100 knee raises on parallel bars
50 dips

5 dead hang pullups
20 pushups
30 squats
20 situps


x5

= 25 pullups, 100 pushups, 150 squats, 100 situps

pullup static holds
pushups static holds

Monday September 19th 2011:

freestyle routine, approximate numbers:

50-60 dips + typewriter dips
30-40 pullups + typewriter pullups and headbangers
20-30 diamond pushups
100 mountain climbers
jumping jacks between various exercises as rest

kommando, thanks for chiming in. I'm still working my numbers upward. I've done 100+ in sessions before, but those were dedicated pullup sessions. My numbers have been lower in the full body workouts just because of general fatigue from not resting between exercises. How do you usually structure your workouts?

Wednesday Sept 21 2011:

1-10-1 pyramid dips, taking extra rest as needed
1-10-1 pyramid pullups, taking extra rest as needed

typewriter dips
typewriter pullups

= ~110 pullups
~110 dips

Saturday Sept 24th 2011:

pseudo recovery day as I was still sore from pyramids

Ultimate frisbee practice from 4-6pm

brief routine maxing out on sets with no rest:

10 pullups normal grip
20 dips
5 wide grip pullups
10 dips
4 close grip pullups
10 dips
4 chins
10 dips

finished with typewriter pullups and typewriter dips


total= 50 dips, 23 pullups, + typewriters

Sunday September 25th 2011

paintball practice from 830am-230pm

Do you play full tournament/supair paintball for a team too? I miss doing 5man tournments, the adrenaline rush is incredible!

Short workout again on the bars, same setup as last time:

10 pullups
20 dips
5 wide grip pullups
12 dips
4 close grip pullups
10 dips
5 chins
10 dips

typewriter pullups
typewriter dips


later at night: ultimate frisbee practice 9-11pm
sprint intervals afterward

Thursday September 29th:

light day:

ultimate frisbee game
swimming laps

And to answer your questions, yes, I'm doing competitive paintball this year. Should be playing in x-ball tournaments and such, and I'm also on the ultimate frisbee team.
