what up -
how to start on planche ?
first goal - hold tucked planche for 60 seconds - straight arms
2nd goal - straddle planche holds and practise transition from tucked to straddle . goal is 10 seconds.
3rd full planche hold straight legs straight arms .

(im close) very close)

do all this on the grounds .

good luck

Thanks for the tip, LB! I'm really keen to accomplish the planche! But do you practise on push ups stands or on the floor?

Yeah, great advice M, but that move is tough as hell!

I'm nowhere near the 60 second tucked hold! lol!

I recommend practice on handles and on ground, it forces your muscles to act under different circumstances.

Quick question guys...

when doing planches on the floor what is your favourite hand position?
Fingers pointing out in front, or off to the sides?

I find it easier to balance when my fingers are out in front, but there is more strain on my wrists. scratch

Cheers!

Personally I like to put them slightly to the sides.

i can do the tucked planche for around 30-45 seconds. but i cant do a full planche yet. one thin g i have noticed about it is that you have to activate your stabilizer muscles in order to keep tight and balanced well
